Art Festival recap

I had a great time showing again at the Melrose Arts Festival this past weekend. I really enjoyed having a chance to mingle with other creators as well as the many art appreciators who came through. Plus the conch fritters from the Barracuda On The Fly food truck stationed outside were beyond scrumptious! The Melrose Arts committee did a fabulous job (as usual) with the set up and the chosen exhibitors displayed a wide range of styles, techniques and crafts ranging from traditional painting and photography to beautiful blown glass, fabulous fabric art, exquisite handmade jewelry, wonderful wire sculptures, awesome assemblage pieces and even incredible carved gourds. I'm pleased and honored to be able to say that two of my recent pieces: Great Balls of Fire and Oh Lolly, Lolly, Lolly, Lollipops found new homes and that many of the folks that came by my booth had fun trying on my fascinators, with a couple even expressing interest in potentially commissioning one in the future. Many, Many thanks to everyone who stopped by booth #36 for your compliments and support!
